Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an Environmental Service Worker to join our Support Services team at Princeton General Hospital in Princeton, BC. If you are a reliable, flexible and motivated individual, you will perform housekeeping duties and maintain clean, sanitary conditions throughout patient rooms, washrooms, corridors and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents.

This casual position offers as-needed hours, with shifts from 06:00 to 14:00 (and other variations).

Qualifications

• Grade 10, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• Performs housekeeping duties throughout the facility and maintains clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as patient, resident, and client rooms along with washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents.

About the Job

• Performs housekeeping duties throughout the facility and maintains clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as patient, resident, and client rooms along with washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days from 06:00 to 14:00, 06:00 to 14:10 and 06:30 to 10:30 hours.
