Position: Part-Time Environmental Services Attendant

Wage: $21.82

Schedule: Varies shifts on weekdays and weekends

Location: Holland Bloorview

We are looking for a Environmental Service Attendant 1 to join our dynamic team. This position is a part-time role. You will enjoy a great team environment, work/life balance, and the opportunity to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Great communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Passion for maintaining a healthy and safe environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Clean offices, patient/resident rooms, dormitories, classrooms, schools, common areas, restrooms, lobbies, food service areas, and other spaces requiring attention (as per operational need).

• Sweep, mop, buff floors, vacuum hallways and offices, clean ceilings, air vents, walls, furniture, windows, and coverings.
• Empty garbage cans, restock supplies, change linens as needed.
• Clean carpets, polish floors using mechanical equipment.
• Move furniture, set up tables and chairs.
• Use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer and Sodexo standards.
• Drive golf carts or other vehicles.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Report major repairs or equipment needs to your supervisor.
• Support inventory management and product ordering.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and supervising subordinate employees.
