Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join the Atlantic Canada Environmental Services team in New Brunswick. You will work on Phase I, II, and III ESAs, soil and groundwater remediation, spills response, and hydrogeological investigations with project teams across sectors.

The role requires independence, strong initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Degree in environmental discipline and at least 5 years of field experience are expected, with

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of applicable field experience in environmental site assessments or remediation.
• Experience in an engineering or consulting environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on environmental investigations and remediation projects, primarily in Atlantic Canada.
• Execute field programs including site visits, borehole drilling, monitoring well installation, soil vapor surveys, and sampling.
• Data management, analysis, and interpretation; report preparation.
• Author technical reports (Phase I/II/III ESAs, ROA, R/RMPs) and support proposals and business development.
• Provide project management support: cost estimates, budgets, status reports; follow SOPs.
• Travel and occasional extended hours; teamwork across multiple projects.
