Job summary

SLR Consulting in Regina is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Engineer to lead field programs for contaminated site assessment and remediation. You will work on Phase I/II assessments, sampling, and environmental monitoring across diverse sites, coordinating budgets, client communications, and reporting.

You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with regulators, while maintaining safety, quality, and teamwork as core priorities.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in contaminated site assessment and field programs.
• Experience leading Phase I/II environmental site assessments, soil, groundwater and vapour sampling, and remediation programs.
• Knowledge of health & safety requirements for oil and gas facilities, construction sites, and subsurface investigations.
• Project management experience considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, including remote locations.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.

We are Making Sustainability Happen.As our new **Environmental Scientist / Engineer**, you will play an important role on our Land Quality and Remediation team in Regina.**Role**In this role, you will be responsible for executing and leading a variety of field programs related to the assessment, monitoring, management, and remediation of contaminated sites. No two days will be the same as you lead and support different aspects of varied projects at a range of urban and remote sites including upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas facilities, commercial and industrial properties, and federal and municipal sites.Your knowledge and experience will be invaluable to our team and will see you involved in the full life cycle of projects as you assist the project manager with budgeting, planning, coordinating, and executing projects, as well as data analysis and reviews, and reporting.
