SLR Consulting (Canada) in Winnipeg is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Scientist to join our Land Quality and Remediation team. You will provide technical support across ESAs, contaminated site investigations, remediation, reporting, data analysis, and due diligence, with mentorship from senior staff.
You will work on projects across oil and gas facilities, commercial and industrial properties, and federal sites, with opportunities to own tasks and advance toward project management.

As our new Intermediate Environmental Scientist, you will play an important role on our Land Quality and Remediation team in Winnipeg.
In this position, you’ll provide technical support and expertise across Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), contaminated site investigations, remediation programs, reporting, data analysis, and environmental due diligence. Working alongside experienced project managers and senior technical professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to build your technical expertise while taking increasing ownership of projects and developing your project management skills.
You’ll work on a variety of projects across urban and remote sites, including upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas facilities, commercial and industrial properties, and federal and municipal sites. Your experience will be valuable in supporting high-quality project delivery and working collaboratively with clients, contractors, and SLR team members.
This role will provide opportunities to take ownership of technical tasks and project components, while receiving mentorship from senior professionals. As your experience grows, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility for project coordination, client communication, budgets, and project management.
