Job summary

SGS Lakefield, ON laboratory is seeking a safety-minded Sample Pickup Driver to transport environmental samples between client locations and the SGS lab. You will drive company vehicles, collect coolers, and ensure proper handling and documentation to meet holding times.

The role requires attention to detail, health and safety commitment, dependable customer service, and the ability to work independently following procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions accurately and safely.
• Experience in courier, delivery, logistics or field services is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to client sites and SGS laboratory.
• Pickup and transport environmental sample coolers and documents.
• Ensure chain-of-custody documentation is complete and accurate.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and comply with safety policies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and handle occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
