Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) efforts in the Prairies and Territories. The role focuses on environmental site assessments, remediation planning, risk assessment, and client communication within oil & gas and commercial sectors.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, mentor field staff, and coordinate with subcontractors across AB, SK, and MB. This office-based role requires travel and strong safety acumen.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in relevant environmental field.
• Professional designation recognized in AB.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, and budget on SIR projects.
• Commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong health and safety culture on all projects.
• Develop scopes of work and cost estimates for Phase I ESAs and Phase II investigations.
• Coordinate remedial options and risk management strategies with technical teams.
• Manage budgets, scope, quality, and timelines for multiple projects.
• Prepare technical reports meeting client and regulatory requirements.
• Lead project meetings and liaison with field staff and discipline leaders.
