Opportunity Overview

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking a dependable, motivated individual for the position of Environmental Services II (trained cleaner/housekeeper in healthcare). The role involves cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, clinical areas, and other facilities according to AHS standards. Shift schedules may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends. AHS offers a competitive pay rate and a Remote Retention Allowance up to $3,000 annually, payable hourly.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance and other cleaning tasks.
• Thoroughly wash ceilings and windows, and manage hazardous waste disposal.
• Provide training and orientation to Environmental staff as needed.
