Zusammenfassung

INNIO is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Co-op to join the Welland team and support the North America EHS program. You will perform inspections, collect data, and assist with continuous improvement while coordinating with Welland and other sites to align policies.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to maintain EHS files, ensure documentation integrity, and support the department through varied clerical tasks.

Qualifikationen

• In progress in Environmental Health and Safety program.
• ISO 45001 awareness is a plus.
• Manufacturing environment experience is an asset.

What are we looking for?

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Co-op will be a member of the Welland Team and working closely to support our North America EHS department. This includes performing a variety of assignments to support the optimization of our EHS program, data management, and EHS continuous improvement.

Co-op Term

January 2027 – April 2027

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform EHS site inspections and audits
• Assist with EHS data collection
• Working with cross functional departments to resolve EHS concerns
• Working on EHS continuous improvement projects
• Working with both Welland and Waukesha sites to combine policies
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date EHS files, records, and documentation
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of EHS files and records
• Perform periodic audits of EHS files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed correctly
• Provides clerical support to the EHS department

Qualifications

• In process of completing a program in Environmental Health and Safety
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and 14001 would be considered an asset
• Experience working within a manufacturing setting would be considered an asset
