Job summary

TBT Engineering in Canada seeks a dedicated Environmental Engineer to contribute to environmental projects across site assessments, remediation, and monitoring, under mentorship from licensed professionals. You will gain exposure to regulatory compliance, habitat evaluation, and ecological studies while building toward professional licensure.

Responsibilities include conducting Phase I/II ESAs, field sampling of soils and waters, supporting RSC projects, and engaging with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Environmental Engineering or Earth Sciences with related education.
• Understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs) and site remediation; prepare technical reports.
• Conduct field investigations and sampling for soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment quality.
• Support RSC projects, including data collection and regulatory coordination.
• Contribute to ecological and biological assessments, including habitat characterization and species surveys.
• Assist in proposal preparation and engage with clients, regulators, the public, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Professional Engineers to apply engineering principles toward licensure.
