YVR is seeking an Environmental Analyst in the Environment Department to support the Climate & Environment program and the Roadmap to Net Zero Emissions by 2030, contributing to impactful environmental projects at the airport.
You will lead sustainability initiatives, perform data collection and modelling for energy, emissions, water and waste, and advise on sustainable building practices while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong stakeholder collaboration.

The Climate and Environment department is responsible for executing YVR’s Environmental Management plan, including reducing our carbon emissions, increasing waste diversion, conserving water and protecting the ecosystem on Sea Island. We also execute YVR’s Noise Management Plan, balancing the need for safe, convenient 24-hour travel with enjoyable urban living.
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for an Environmental Analyst in the Environment Department. Reporting to the Manager, Climate & Environment, the successful candidate will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team who is passionate about creating environmental change and is looking for an opportunity to work on interesting and varied environmental projects.
The successful candidate will use a unique combination of analytical expertise and relationship-building skills to lead and support environmental sustainability initiatives across the airport. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
