Are you driven by the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and complex projects around the world and to learn from the best? We are.

Diversity is at the core of everything we do. We work together to create a culture based on respect, trust and inclusiveness. Our differences are what fuel our creativity.

We embrace flexible working and are always open to discussing your individual needs so that you get to create your own experience with us.

What will you do?

We are currently seeking a talented Environmental Manager who has experience delivering post-approval environmental services to help continue the growth of our environmental management capability.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

  • Lead the identification of potential environmental project pursuits and supervise the Aurecon process per the Merlin Way.
  • Oversee the proposal preparation process, ensuring a competent team is in place and establishing a robust proposal strategy with competitive costing.
  • Manage project delivery and maintain client relationships as a core function of the role.
  • Provide guidance to team members, serving as a role model for quality output and timely submissions, while meeting utilisation targets.
  • Conduct senior reviews of reports to ensure quality before client submission.
  • Handle administrative approvals in Workday for leave requests and project-related cash advances.
  • Monitor staff utilisation, billing, collections, and gross margins for projects, alongside other related tasks as necessary
  • Represent ACPI in client meetings, internal Aurecon meetings within the region, and Environment Committees
  • Engage in thought leadership activities to promote the skills and environmental services of the Environment Team
  • Facilitate client-facing presentations, including proposal presentations, kick-off meetings, and check-up/update meetings.

What can you bring to the team?

  • Master’s degree in environmental engineering or related field (preferred); Ph.D. in related sciences (alternative qualification).
  • Certifications: Registered EIA preparer with EMB-DENR.
  • Minimum of 10 years in Environmental Consultancy, including experience with international funding institutions (e.g., World Bank, ADB, UNDP, UNIDO, EU).
  • Expertise in Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) - Phases 1, 2, & 3, site closure, decommissioning, and waste management.
  • Proficient in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management, water resource management, and hazardous materials/occupational hygiene.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments, due diligence, ESIA, social impact assessments, and planning/environmental approvals.
  • Provide ecology and biodiversity advice, transition strategies, and ESG advisory services.
  • Focus on renewable energy, environmental monitoring, audits, energy efficiency, and sustainability/climate change initiatives.

What can we offer you?

Aurecon brings ideas to life to design a better future. Imagining what is possible, we turn problems into solutions. We provide advisory, design, delivery and asset management services on projects across the globe.

Using ingenuity, innovation, and technology we seek to unravel complexity, create clarity and invent new value for clients. In partnership with our clients we enhance communities with projects that are diverse and globally recognised for engineering and technical excellence by independent industry awards.

Finally, we value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life. Does that sound like you?
