Job summary

Overlanders Manufacturing LP is seeking an entry level Press Brake Operator with training provided. No extensive experience required; candidates with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

You will operate CNC press brake machines, read blueprints, set up tooling, and ensure parts meet specifications. On-the-job training is provided to develop skills in bending, programming, inspection, and safe material handling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Press Brake machines to bend and form sheet metal accurately.
  • Set up machines with tooling and settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
  • Perform bending operations to production standards.
  • Program CNC machines with job parameters as required.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools for conformance.
  • Troubleshoot basic production and machine issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
  • Manage workload to meet production schedules.
  • Handle materials using forklifts and other equipment (training provided).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist with general production duties as needed.

Job description

Entry Level Press Brake Operator (Training Provided)

Overlanders Manufacturing is looking for a motivated and reliable Press Brake Operator to join our team. Previous press brake experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train individuals who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate CNC Press Brake machines to bend and form sheet metal accurately.
  • Set up machines with the appropriate tooling and machine settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
  • Perform bending operations according to production and quality standards.
  • Program CNC machines with job parameters as required.
  • Inspect completed parts using measuring tools to verify specifications and quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot basic production and machine issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Manage workload efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Safely handle materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment (training provided where applicable).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with general production and manufacturing duties as required.

Previous press brake experience is welcome but not required.

Shift & Pay
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced production setting with repetitive tasks.
  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:15pm.
  • Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm - 2:15am.
  • Pay: $20 - $24 per hour.
  • Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and overall fitness for the role.
