  • Select, install, and verify correct tooling, dies, and back‑gauge setups.
  • Load and unload parts using appropriate material handling techniques.
  • Verify correct programs, materials, and bend sequences prior to operation.
  • Monitor machine performance and part quality during operation.
  • Perform basic operator‑level adjustments and troubleshooting within scope of training.
  • Communicate equipment, tooling, or process issues to the Production Lead, Supervisor, or Maintenance.
Quality & Process Control
  • Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspections to ensure parts meet drawing specifications, bend angles, and tolerances.
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, angle gauges, and protractors.
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation as required.
  • Identify non‑conforming parts and follow established quality procedures.
  • Maintain consistent standards for part identification, traceability, and housekeeping.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all Malach safety policies and procedures, including press brake guarding, light curtains, two‑hand controls, and PPE requirements.
  • Operate equipment in accordance with safe work practices and training.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and required training.
  • Report hazards, near misses, and incidents promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to assist in other production areas as required.
  • Actively contribute to a respectful, accountable, and team‑oriented work environment.
Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and bend notes.
  • Basic understanding of materials, forming processes, and quality inspection methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
