A major oil and gas producer is seeking a recent graduate for the Field Operator position based in Whitecourt. This key role involves monitoring production systems, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring safety compliance. Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is seeking a recent graduate from a technical diploma or a degree program to hire as a Field Operator based out of their Whitecourt office, with the intent to develop the successful candidate into future Operational, Technical, or Maintenance roles. This role will follow an 8/6 schedule, working 10-hour days, and candidates must be local to the area as no accommodations are provided.
Reporting to the Production Foreman, the successful candidate will work with the Field team to monitor and optimize well production, pipeline systems, and facilities, as well as troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
