Job summary

CST Canada Coal Limited invites applicants for an Entry-Level Environmental Technologist to join our Resource Management Team at Grande Cache Mine. You will perform field, laboratory and office tasks to support the environmental program and ensure compliance with EPEA requirements.

This role provides on-the-job training across water, air, wildlife, reclamation and waste management. The successful candidate will contribute to monitoring, data collection and reporting, while gaining exposure to

Qualifications

Two-year technical diploma in Environmental Science, Wildlife or Resource Management or related field is required.
Entry-level position with on-the-job training across diverse environmental disciplines.

Responsibilities

Assist with reclamation work, including supervising contractors and conducting soil assessment.
Perform inspections and data collection for air monitoring programs (EPEA 4.2).
Conduct inspections and sampling for mine wastewater; calibrate lab equipment.
Participate in soil and groundwater monitoring; collect and process data.
Assist with field samples, data entry, and researching regulatory requirements.
