Job summary

Johnson Controls in Calgary, AB, is seeking a Junior Building Operator to perform cleaning, landscaping, snow removal and general maintenance for a large industrial facility. You will support senior operators, operate scrubbers and Skid Steer, and assist with HVAC tasks while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in landscaping or facility maintenance is preferred.
• Basic understanding of HVAC and general mechanical knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning, landscaping, and snow removal for a large building.
• Support senior operators with day-to-day activities and preventive maintenance.
• Operate skid steer and industrial floor scrubber to clean and move materials.
• Respond to service events and complete work orders accurately and on time.
• Assist with HVAC maintenance tasks such as filter changes and inspections.
• Maintain safe work practices and follow health and safety policies.
