Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer - Full Stack (Hybrid) for our Provincial Government client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Document the business drivers, client area processes, and how those processes contribute to the achievement of the area’s business goals.
2. Analyze the business needs of clients and stakeholders to propose potential solutions, both technical and non-technical.
3. Lead the translation of business requirements into high-level design specifications.
4. Design and document cost-effective, innovative, and operationally supportable solutions.
5. Document the structure, connections, and relationships of business processes, organizational work groups, data, applications, user interfaces, application interfaces, infrastructure, and network topology.
6. Design solutions that recognize and adapt to business, technical, and financial constraints.
7. Develop solutions considering IT operational limitations and opportunities.
8. Document the effort, risk, costs, and complexity of potential solutions.
9. Research and write discussion documents on emerging technologies, vendors, product functionality, reliability, and service offerings.
10. Review proposed solution architectures to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and strategies.
11. Ensure solution architectures meet business objectives for availability, reliability, performance, scalability, maintainability, manageability, and security.
12. Identify trends and create strategies and roadmaps for Enterprise IT initiatives like IoT, Data Analytics, and cloud platforms.
13. Develop enterprise principles, standards, and guidelines for solutions and strategic planning.
14. Develop governance frameworks for enterprise solution approvals.
15. Conduct solution architecture reviews for alignment with Enterprise Architecture.
16. Create templates for solution architectures and design documents.
17. Develop or update domain-specific architectures (business, application, mobile, data).
18. Perform other architect duties as assigned.

Must Haves

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical IT roles within complex enterprise environments.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing solution architectures across n-tiered platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Information Architecture principles, data management, data integration, and data quality tools.
• Expertise in at least one enterprise ETL tool.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience architecting solutions involving complex integrations (multi-platform, SaaS, PaaS).
• Knowledge of process re-engineering, requirements gathering, and middleware management.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple language for various audiences.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Teamwork skills.
• Over 5 years of experience in an Enterprise Architect role.
• Experience presenting to senior management.
• Over 5 years of experience developing enterprise standards, principles, and roadmaps.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred

• Enterprise Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, Zachmann, or ITI.
