Job summary

BCI is modernizing the platform that supports one of Canada’s largest institutional investors. As an Enterprise Architect, you will set standards and roadmaps across application, data, cloud, security, and AI, while staying closely tied to implementation to keep recommendations grounded.

This is a collaborative role focused on consensus-building and actionable architecture decisions. You will work with Technology teams and business partners to shape architectures that drive modernization,

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect or in a related architecture role.
  • Bridge hands-on technology implementation with enterprise strategy.
  • Strong architectural pattern recognition and reusable solutions.
  • Experience with cloud modernization and AI governance.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Depth in data, application/solution, cloud, security, or integration domains.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize enterprise architectures to enable modernization.
  • Define and evolve architecture standards, principles, and patterns.
  • Build roadmaps in partnership with business and technology teams.
  • Review architectures-in-development and provide actionable feedback.
  • Evaluate AI options and establish governance for responsible adoption.
  • Prototype innovations and develop EA tooling and automation.
  • Incorporate risk, compliance, and security into architectural decisions.

Relocation support within Canada is available if needed. We are an in-person, collaborative organization with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.SALARY RANGEThe annualized salary range for this role is CAD $106,000 to $128,000BCI offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off. We pay our people competitively in the markets in which we operate and with consideration for internal equity and job structure. The base salary will consider factors such as the individual's skill set, experience, and internal equity. We aim for actual pay to be around the market median for expected performance and the upper quartile for excellent performance.
