Synechron Canada ULC_CANADA Company is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and drive technology strategies and transformation roadmaps for enterprise clients, with a focus on AI, Data, and Cloud. You will partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to design scalable, secure architectures and lead complex transformations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Technology Consulting, or Solution Architecture.
• Strong experience across AI, Data, and Cloud with enterprise-scale implementations.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, AI/ML, GenAI, cloud-native tech, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience engaging with C-suite and senior technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture strategies and technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Lead architecture initiatives across AI/GenAI, Data, Cloud, and digital transformation.
• Design AI/GenAI architectures including LLMs, RAG, AI platforms, and agentic solutions.
• Define modern data strategies covering data platforms, data lakes/lakehouses, governance, analytics, and AI-ready data.
• Develop cloud architecture and modernization strategies across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Establish architecture standards, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.
• Advise CIO/CTO and senior stakeholders on technology strategy and emerging tech.
• Lead architecture assessments, modernization initiatives, and complex transformation programs.
• Partner with Sales and Consulting on client engagements, proposals, solution strategy, and account growth.

The role will partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures while providing strategic technology leadership across complex transformation initiatives.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $160k – CAD $190k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role Responsibilities:

• Provide thought leadership and mentor architects and technical teams.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Technology Consulting, or Solution Architecture.
• Strong experience across AI, Data, and Cloud, with demonstrated enterprise-scale implementations.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, AI/ML, GenAI, cloud-native technologies, APIs, and microservices.
• Proven experience engaging with C-suite and senior technology stakeholders.
• Strong consulting, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Banking & Financial Services is highly preferred.
• TOGAF and/or cloud certifications are a plus.
