Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority invites applications for an Enterostomal Therapy Nurse (ETN) in the Ostomy & Wound Resource Team at Pasqua Hospital, Regina. This part-time regular role (0.36 FTE) supports patients with genitourinary, gastrointestinal, and integumentary conditions, under the direction of the Program Coordinator.

The ETN provides education, counseling and care, collaborating with individuals, families and the health care team.

Qualifications

• Five years of clinical experience, preferably in ETN or related field.
• Enterostomal Therapy certificate and BScN.
• CRNS registration or eligibility.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing services to individuals with genitourinary, gastrointestinal, or integumentary issues.
• Counsel, educate and care for patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team; act as consultant, educator, clinician, researcher and administrator.
