Job summary

Gestal North America in Mirabel, QC seeks an aerospace assembler to build and assemble components from manuals and visual aids. You will align PVA parts, drill within tolerances, seal, fasten, and follow engineering specs under the Methods Department.

The ideal candidate holds a DEP or AEC in aerospace assembly with at least 3 years of related experience, demonstrates autonomy and teamwork, and communicates effectively in English. This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Mirabel.

Qualifications

• Diplomas or certificates listed above are eligible for the role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an assembler in the aerospace industry or a related field within the last 5 years.
• Strong autonomy, initiative, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Work from instructions provided in the form of assembly manuals and visual aids;
• Use templates and position PVA components, engineering drawings, or any other materials provided by the Methods Department;
• Drill within the specified tolerances, apply sealants, and install the required fasteners in accordance with engineering specifications;
• Meet the standard deadlines set by the Methods Department and comply with the quality reference document;
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards;
• Ensure compliance with production standards and rates;
• Perform all other related duties based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in aerospace structural assembly or;
• An Advanced Vocational Certificate (AEC) in aircraft maintenance with experience as an assembler in the aerospace industry or;
• A fast‑track program in aircraft structures or;
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an assembler in the aerospace industry or a related field within the last 5 years.

AND;

• You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and work well in a multidisciplinary team;
• You have strong communication skills;
• You have a good command of the English language (spoken and written).
