Job summary

Tatham Engineering Limited is seeking a Technologist to join its Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, Guelph and Orillia offices. You will assist in municipal infrastructure and land development designs, including subdivisions, site plans, grading plans, sewers, water mains, roads, and parking areas.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering Technology diploma, AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency, and is registered or eligible for OACETT.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• C.E.T. designation would be an asset.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Registered or eligible for registration with OACETT.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of engineering standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal infrastructure and land development projects across multiple locations (Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, Guelph, Orillia).
• Work on residential and industrial subdivisions, site plans, lot grading, and storm/sewer systems.
• Contribute to storm water management, water mains, roads and parking layouts.

We are currently looking to fill multiple new positions for a Technologist in various departments across our Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, Guelph and Orillia locations. The successful candidate will be engaged in the design of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, involving residential and industrial subdivisions, site plans, lot grading plans, storm and sanitary sewers, septic systems, storm water management systems, water mains, roads and parking lots.

Key Position Requirements
