Job summary

Communications Test Design Inc Canada is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Mississauga, ON. You will assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engineering equipment within the warehouse, supporting operations and safety standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, or automation systems, strong communication, and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team. Proficiency with computer usage is expected.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $25.00

Duties:

• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engineering equipment, systems, and machinery within the warehouse.
• Support warehouse operations by ensuring the proper handling, storage, and movement of technical components, products, and tools.
• Monitor the performance of equipment and report issues related to machinery, processes, or workflows to senior engineers or supervisors.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, or robotic systems, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
• Work closely with engineers and other warehouse staff to troubleshoot problems, assist with the implementation of new systems, and contribute to project success.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment statuses.
• Assist with creating technical documentation for warehouse systems and machinery.
• Comply with quality performance standards.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of prior work experience with electrical, mechanical, or automation systems.
• Foundational knowledge of tools and equipment, with a proficient understanding of mechanical systems and technical processes.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and report technical issues.
