Auxo is working with a Montréal-based startup developing next-generation ultra-low power wireless solutions . Their technology powers real-time communication for applications like audio streaming, sensor networks, and connected devices.

They’re looking for an Engineering Project Manager who understands embedded systems, thrives in cross-functional teams, and enjoys leading projects that bring real-world hardware and firmware products to life.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving embedded product development projects (HW / FW) from planning through delivery
• Coordinating cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, product, and validation
• Managing risk, tracking milestones, and aligning execution with business goals
• Supporting internal processes like documentation, post-mortems, and continuous improvement
• Mentoring other project managers and helping build project delivery best practices

What they’re looking for

• 7+ years managing embedded hardware & firmware projects
• Strong background in embedded systems (C / C++, microcontrollers, system architecture)
• Solid understanding of product lifecycles, HW / FW integration, and RF design
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and juggling multiple projects
• Comfortable using tools like Jira, TargetProcess, or MS Project
• Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, growing environments

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with low-power or battery-operated products
• PMP or equivalent certification
