Job summary

CoolIT Systems Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Technical Coolant Systems team, overseeing end-to-end mechanical design for liquid cooling infrastructure in hyperscale data centers and HPC systems.

The role requires 10+ years in related industries, expertise in TCS architecture, and BIM coordination. You will drive design maturity, ensure proper documentation, and collaborate across engineering and operations to meet program timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• +10 years of relevant experience in related industries.
• Experience with TCS architecture, hydronic piping, valve trains, filtration, expansion systems, leak detection, BIM coordination, and installation-ready design packages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical design and engineering execution of Technical Coolant System infrastructure packages.
• Lead and develop the TCS engineering organization including technical leads and designers.
• Provide technical guidance on thermal analysis, heat transfer simulations, and materials selection for liquid-cooled solutions.
• Drive design reviews, sign-off, and ensure documentation is created and released across programs.
• Manage workload, mentor team, and drive department budgets and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business development, manufacturing, quality, and program management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Master's degree (preferred) in thermal or fluid dynamics

P.Eng designation (preferred)
