Modern Technical Staffing Inc. is sourcing an Engineering Manager for a client in Alliston, Ontario.

This on-site, full-time role requires a candidate with a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering and at least five years in a fast-paced plastics or metals manufacturing environment. The manager will oversee Process and Manufacturing Engineers and guide manufacturing processes with GD&T and CAD software.

Qualifications

• Requires degree/diploma in mechanical engineering.
• 5 years engineering experience in high-volume plastics or metals manufacturing.
• Experience supervising Process/Manufacturing Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and oversight for engineering initiatives and technical decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, throughput and reduce waste.
• Lead creation, refinement, and deployment of production tooling, fixtures, and process workflows.
• Direct engineering programs from concept to rollout.
• Evaluate and govern modifications to products and processes.
• Offer technical direction during new product launches to ensure smooth production.
