• Assists in the establishment of engineering schedules and follows up performance against estimates.
• Initiates cost reduction proposals and checks on results obtained.
• Supports the creation of department budgets and quarterly forecasts updates.
• Ensures compliance of company policies and procedures regarding processes and projects.
• Works on or serves as a resource on projects requiring advanced knowledge of a field of specialization.
• Determine feasibility of designs considering costs, time limitations, and other factors; support design of new parts or systems; analyze quality issues; perform engineering calculations.
• Recruits employees; assigns, directs, and evaluates their work; oversee development and maintenance of competencies.
