Role OverviewTD Bank is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Engineer to lead a team responsible for retail liquidity regulatory reporting across the U.S. and Canada. This role combines technical expertise and functional leadership to deliver critical regulatory reporting solutions, ensuring compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulations. The successful candidate will spearhead major regulatory projects over the next two years, leveraging a strong technical background in Microsoft technologies, including MS SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and business system analysts responsible for developing and maintaining retail liquidity regulatory reporting systemsFoster a collaborative, high-performance team culture, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory deadlinesCoordinate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, finance, risk management, and IT, to ensure seamless delivery of reporting solutionsOversee the design, development, and implementation of liquidity reporting solutions to meet regulatory requirements, such as U.S. Federal Reserve (FR 2052a), Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) guidelines, and Basel III liquidity standards (e.g., LCR, NSFR)Ensure timely and accurate submission of liquidity reports to regulators in the U.S. and CanadaDrive the execution of multiple high-priority regulatory projects within the next two years, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory frameworksOptimize database performance, ensuring scalability and reliability of reporting systemsImplement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standardsCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical specificationsProvide functional expertise in liquidity risk management and regulatory reporting processes, ensuring alignment with TD Bank's retail banking operationsLead end-to-end project delivery for major regulatory initiatives, including scoping, planning, execution, and testingManage project timelines, budgets, and resources
