Job summary

itec group Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a team, drive strategy and manage projects within a heavy industrial equipment context. The role focuses on delivering engineering outputs aligned with client specifications and project needs, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate will validate calculations, assess manufacturability, ensure safety and regulatory adherence, and support QC activities at the manufacturing site as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study.
• Must be a certified Professional Engineering (P.Eng)
• Experience in Heavy Industrial Equipment Design (Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Steam Generators, Piping, Etc.)

Responsibilities

• Ensuring engineering output meets client specifications and project needs.
• Checking and validating engineering calculations.
• Evaluating designs for manufacturability and transportability.
• Reviewing designs and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, legal requirements, and industry and company standards.
• Supporting quality control activities at the manufacturer’s site when necessary.
