Job summary

The City of Burnaby seeks an Engineering Information Clerk within the Public Works – Administration unit. The role involves providing information to municipal staff and the public, maintaining electronic records for utilities and roads infrastructure, and responding to requests via multiple channels.

This position requires Grade 12 plus office/recordkeeping experience and a BC driver’s licence. Experience with Hansen and SAP PM is beneficial, and the incumbent will handle mail and typing tasks

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 plus general office/recordkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of filing, recordkeeping, and office practices.
• Ability to use databases, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
• BC Driver's Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer information requests by phone and email.
• Maintain electronic records for storm, sanitary, water, and roads assets.
• Distribute departmental mail and perform typing tasks.
• Provide information to Municipal staff and the public.
