This hands-on technical leader will mentor engineers, drive design innovation, and ensure projects meet quality, timelines, and budgets in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, proven leadership, strong 3D CAD skills, and excellent communication. Base salary ranges 130,000–150,000 CAD with performance bonuses.

Our client, an established and growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager to lead its engineering design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys developing engineering talent, driving design innovation, and overseeing projects from concept through production.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical design engineers and technical professionals.
• Oversee engineering design projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are achieved.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the design, development, and manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to support project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement, design standardization, and engineering best practices.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience leading engineering design teams within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in mechanical design, product development, or custom equipment engineering.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and engineering design principles.
• Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Salary Range:

Salary Range: $130,000-150,000 base salary plus bonus.
