Job summary

CLEAResult, a leading energy-efficiency consultancy, seeks an engineering co-op in Ontario. The role is a 40-hour/week placement from September 8, 2026 to December 23, 2026, with potential for promotion to a full-time position based on performance.

The candidate will calculate energy savings, review local projects, and help develop engineering best-practices while using MS Excel and other software. 0

Qualifications

• Active enrollment and completion of 2+ years in post-secondary education in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or Energy preferred).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest and ambition to work in the fast-paced energy-efficiency industry.

Responsibilities

• Calculate energy savings for energy-efficient projects
• Review projects submitted to our local energy-efficiency lighting programs
• Support development of company-wide engineering best-practices
• Support engineering tool development using MS Excel and other software
• Prepare draft reports such as measurement verification plans and billing analysis results
• Update databases and calculators
• Ensure current energy-efficiency projects reflect federal and state energy codes

• Strong math and analytical skills

Compensation

$23.00 / hour CAD

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
