We are looking for an Engineer TIS PCSLD LD CPM Maintenance. This position is accountable for configuring, maintaining, quality assurance testing, and tuning leak detection Computational Pipeline Monitoring (CPM) systems and related technologies to achieve optimal leak detection performance in compliance with applicable regulatory, Enbridge internal, and pipeline-specific requirements.

What you will do:
- Provide support to the Leak Detection Assessment and Support (LDAS) Team with leak analysis and system support.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Leak Detection (LD) and MP/LP projects.
- Support software initiatives related to pipeline leak detection.
- Design, configure, implement, and support CPM-based leak detection systems, including testing, tuning, commissioning, and installation.
- Monitor production leak detection systems, perform root cause analysis, and implement updates following Management of Change processes.
- Provide software engineering expertise for developments within LD and support LD's software initiatives.
- Conduct leak detection system checks to ensure continuous operation.
- Review and update all leak detection model documentation to ensure standards and review cycles are followed; recommend improvements.
- Participate in rotational 24/7 backup support for Control Centre Leak Detection Analysts.
- Evaluate leak detection systems and develop recommendations for additional instrumentation to improve performance, supporting budget submissions and planning.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Leak Detection standards.
- Mentor junior team members and deliver onboarding.
- Contribute to industry organizations (e.g., API) on leak detection technology and regulations, including presenting at conferences.
- Lead or participate in department scorecard initiatives.
- Participate in incident reviews and risk assessments, providing technical input and completing corrective actions.
- Respond to regulatory requests with technical expertise.
- Update procedures, best practices, and guidance documents.
- Engage actively in Enbridge's safety culture.
Who you are:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a professional Engineer (P.Eng) with APEGA.
- 4+ years supporting liquid pipelines as a Leak Detection Engineer.
- Experience in software development with Python, C, or C++.
- Experience with real-time transient model software and/or statistical modeling software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication, facilitation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment during regular hours.
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation for leak detection support.
- May assist with incident investigations after hours.
- Travel within North America may be required for tests or training.
