The Engineer in the Security Platform Engineering, Orchestration and Logistics team plays a critical role in shaping and communicating technical information, leading security platform projects, preparing executive reports, and providing data-driven insights. This position ensures effective communication within the team and with stakeholders, and contributes to the development of key documentation and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of software tools such as Office 365, Power BI, and Jira, along with excellent communication and project management skills to support team objectives.

Is this role right for you?

  • Leverage expertise in Power BI, Office 365 applications (Excel, Visio, SharePoint), and other relevant software to visualize and analyze performance indicators, security metrics, and project data, while efficiently managing and presenting information.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, define and update processes and procedures, and create executive reports and user-friendly dashboards to support cybersecurity engineering projects.
  • Understand application and infrastructure concepts, and be familiar with cloud technologies to incorporate processes into security strategies and document security solutions.
  • Collaborate with security engineering and development teams to align content strategies with project goals, providing support to achieve objectives.
  • Work with SPE Operations and Support teams and vendors to understand operational challenges and help develop solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Consider the Bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Promote high-performance and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Do you have the skills to succeed in this role?

  • Knowledge of network security, architecture, and security applications infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project tracking and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and related technologies.
  • Understanding of vulnerability management, change management, and IT risk management.
  • Experience with log onboarding concepts and techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading or participating in the development of security-related platforms.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Linux, Shell scripting, Python, SQL, Ansible is advantageous.
  • Security-related certifications are a plus.
