We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Cloud & Application Security Product and Architecture team. The ideal candidate will have strong cybersecurity and cloud security knowledge, with familiarity in the DevOps space. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for understanding and implementing Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP) and best practices. You will play a key role in delivering next-generation security capabilities during a large-scale transformation at the bank.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the bank, including development, engineering, DevOps, cloud, application security, and other teams to enhance cloud security capabilities.

CNAPP Operations

• Support the review and triage of findings flagged by CNAPP to ensure effective cloud transformation.
• Develop and improve strategies and processes to manage vulnerabilities and threats in cloud-native applications.
• Follow established processes to ensure control measures are implemented to mitigate risks.

DevSecOps Operations

• Review and consolidate DevSecOps processes and tools.
• Enhance strategies to identify, analyze, and communicate vulnerabilities, adhering to CISO directives and standards.
• Improve reporting to management and development teams for tracking remediation efforts.
• Consider the bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.

Skills and Experience Needed

• 10+ years’ experience in IT, including development, DevOps, or cloud security.
• 5+ years’ experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
• 3+ years’ experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, focusing on security integration and automation.
• 3+ years’ experience with cloud security domains like CNAPP, CWPP, CSPM, and tools such as Prisma Cloud, CrowdStrike, etc.
• Experience documenting processes and procedures.
• Experience with large organization cloud transformations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience; GCP PCSE certification preferred.
