Explore your next role:

As a key member of the Engineering Department, the Project Coordinator will manage engineering projects in terms of requirements, workflow, communication, quality and technical records. In addition, the successful candidate will coordinate various technical and administrative duties related to designs, certifications and other aspects of the engineering projects undertaken by Voyageur.

  • Assist with project documentation including Project Specific Certification Plans and other administrative type project documentation.
  • Manage the custodianship of project documentation and ensure records are kept according to company policies.
  • Review and track expenses and labor pertaining to assigned engineering projects.
  • Manage difficult to moderately complex projects with respect to work breakdown, workflow, communication, quality and technical records
  • Manage small to medium sized project teams and deliver required project objectives
  • Manage and track project specific material and parts
  • Coordinate with appropriate vendors in support of engineering projects.
  • Interpret prospective customer requirements and develop costs estimates to meet such requirements
  • Prepare proposals and present to prospective customers
  • Liaise with customers and prospective customers regarding project requirements.

Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:

  • Demonstrated experience managing difficult engineering projects
  • Knowledge and experience with the aviation industry in Canada
  • A degree in engineering / aerospace engineering is considered an asset
  • Experience managing small to medium size teams consisting of engineers, fabricators, and installers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently with minimal guidance.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work for a Canadian company and provide a clear criminal background check.
