Job summary

Innovent in Toronto is seeking an Engineer for Object Graph & Eventing to build the typed graph that holds assets, places, people, and signals at 500K events/sec. The role is hybrid and full-time, with a focus on delivering scalable graph-based capabilities for national-scale operations.

You will join a small team focused on the object and event graph surface of the Innfini platform, delivering product outcomes for customers and ensuring latency-sensitive performance across complex pipelines.

Qualifications

• You must have experience with high-throughput distributed systems.
• Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink, or similar).
• Familiarity with graph databases and schema design principles.

The role

You’ll join a small team focused on the object & event graph surface of the Innfini platform. The work is product, customer, and consequence — in equal measure. You’ll ship to customers running national-scale operations, sometimes from a war room, sometimes from a chemical plant.
