Job summary

Innovent is hiring an ML Engineer for Toronto, focusing on computer vision on a hybrid, full-time basis. You will build vision pipelines to detect defects on a chemical plant line and track containers in a yard, while shipping product features for national-scale operations.

You will join a small team working on the Innfini platform, dealing with production ML at scale, on-site tuning, fusion of camera data with RFID, and an emphasis on robust evaluation against ground truth data.

Qualifications

• Production ML experience beyond research
• Experience tuning YOLO/Detectron detectors per site
• Experience with camera-to-RFID fusion systems
• Experience with quantization for edge deployment
• Continuous evaluation against ground truth data

The role

You’ll join a small team focused on the computer vision surface of the Innfini platform. The work is product, customer, and consequence — in equal measure. You’ll ship to customers running national-scale operations, sometimes from a war room, sometimes from a chemical plant.
