As a Class I Engineer, you will:

1. Take regular action to keep guest room and areas fully operable for guest comfort and safety, and the work environment safe for fellow associates.
2. Use your technical skills to solve problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently.
3. Respond courteously to guest requests promptly and resolve matters to their satisfaction.
4. Assist with grounds upkeep.
5. Maintain safe, orderly, and clean mechanical areas and keep legible, organized records.

Qualifications: A high school diploma with technical or vocational schooling is preferred. Hotel experience is a plus but not required. General knowledge in carpentry, painting, electrical work, and effective communication skills are expected. Knowledge of Kemper Insurance Red Tag System and ability to drive a pick-up truck may be required. Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
