Job Details

The MuleSoft Developer will play a crucial role in our company's success by developing and delivering projects based on the Anypoint Platform, utilizing API-driven design, messaging patterns, and software development best practices. The candidate should have strong skills in the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, messaging patterns, endpoint security, interfaces with internal and external applications, and database knowledge. They should be capable of managing the entire project development cycle, aligning with business objectives and delivering value.

Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze and develop integration solution architecture, ensuring it meets IT and business requirements, and directly impacts business success. Transform business needs into scalable and manageable solution architectures and design specifications.
  2. Collaborate with IT functions such as DevOps, Release Management, INFOSEC, and Infrastructure Operations to ensure consistency, quality, and effective solutions. Your expertise will be integral to our success.
  3. Create high-level design of integration solutions and guide implementation teams on Mule components and patterns for detailed design and implementation.
  4. Design and develop Mule applications for deployment on the Anypoint Platform runtime environment.
  5. Apply standard development methods throughout the development lifecycle (discovery, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support) to ensure solution quality.
  6. Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and operational concerns related to the Anypoint Platform solutions.
  7. Possess knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
  8. Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support API and integration projects.
  9. Support the integration environment and solutions, including off-hours support for critical business integrations.
  10. Work closely with product owners, QA, and stakeholders to understand requirements, manage user stories/backlog, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  11. Coordinate with Solution Architects and Senior Developers to ensure solution consistency, quality, and knowledge sharing.
  12. Continuously explore industry standards and technological advances for improvement.
  13. Gather, understand, and clarify complex business requirements.
Education and Required Experience:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
  2. At least one active MuleSoft Developer Certification is desirable.
  3. 7+ years of progressive software development experience.
  4. 5+ years of MuleSoft experience, including API architecture development and working with MuleSoft Anypoint and CloudHub.
  5. Experience with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Copado, etc.
  6. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API strategy development.
  7. Proficiency with Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, API design, and CloudHub.
  8. Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR), web service standards (XML, SOAP, REST), and database management (Oracle, MS SQL).
  9. Knowledge of API security protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML), Mule ESB, SOA, JSON, XSD, XML, and integration with cloud/SaaS applications.
Additional Educational & Skills Information:

Preferred certifications include Android Development, Microsoft certifications, TOGAF, Scrum Master, SAFe Agile, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, among others. Technical skills encompass API design, cloud computing, integration testing, programming languages, database management, and familiarity with various tools and platforms such as AWS, Azure, Hadoop, Java frameworks, NoSQL databases, and operating systems.
