Engineer and Project Leader – Industrial Mechanics (Relocation to Sept-Îles)

This position involves engineering, project management, and business development in the mining, energy, and heavy industry sectors, with a focus on the Sept-Îles region. The role includes participating in engineering tasks, technology selection, project execution, and maintaining client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing technical reports
• Leading design and specifications based on guidelines
• Performing design calculations and ensuring compliance with codes
• Preparing material lists and bills of lading
• Recommending standards and practical applications
• Coordinating and reviewing work of team members
• Ensuring project budgets, schedules, and procedures are met
• Planning and leading projects
• Assisting in proposal drafting and system troubleshooting

Qualifications include:

• University degree in mechanical engineering and membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in heavy industrial projects
• Availability for short-term work assignments between Sept-Îles and Labrador City
• ASP Construction card
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Navisworks
• Assets: experience in mining, petrochemicals, energy; knowledge of SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, ANSYS, Fathom; bilingual in English and French
