Overview

To pursue project and client development in the Sept-Îles region, BBA seeks to strengthen its local multidisciplinary team. Working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal, and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, this team is involved in developing the region and executing projects in mining, metals, and energy sectors. Our electrical engineering teams are distinguished by their technical expertise and commitment to operating and maintaining industrial power systems.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist industrial clients with operations, maintenance, and growth projects.
• Perform site surveys and tests on high- and medium-voltage electrical equipment.
• Participate in commissioning and various project stages.
• Ensure quality of professional services and maintain client relationships.

Key Duties

• Address safety issues during design.
• Lead electrical engineering projects across Canada.
• Prepare and supervise plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Manage project teams, reviews, costs, and schedules.
• Transfer technical knowledge to junior staff.
• Contribute to proposals and material studies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
• Minimum five years’ experience in industrial projects.
• Expertise in medium- and low-voltage power distribution.
• Team management experience.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Willingness to work on-site in Québec and Canada.
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code; assets include ETAP, AutoCAD, site supervision, and foreign codes.
