Your future role on our team

To pursue project and client development in the Sept-Îles region, BBA wants to bolster its local multidisciplinary team. Working closely with our offices in Labrador City, Montréal, and Mont-Saint-Hilaire, this team is actively involved in developing the Sept-Îles region and executing various projects in the mining, metals, and energy sectors. BBA's electrical engineering teams are distinguished by their technical expertise and commitment to operating and maintaining industrial power systems.

Type of position: Regular

Your future role on our team

In this role, you'll support our industrial clients in energy and mining markets through site surveys, testing high- and medium-voltage electrical equipment, participating in commissioning, and assisting in project execution stages. You'll also ensure quality services and maintain strong client relationships. Sept-Îles offers a vibrant community with outdoor activities and access to amenities of a city of over 25,000 inhabitants. Additionally, you'll have opportunities to mentor junior engineers and access BBA’s professional network for development.

Overview of Certifications and Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
• Minimum five years of experience in industrial and multidisciplinary projects
• Skills in medium- and low-voltage power distribution
• Team management experience (2-5 resources)
• Technical documentation skills
• Bilingual in English and French
• Availability for site and office work in Quebec and Canada
• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
• Assets: ETAP, AutoCAD, OPEX experience, site supervision, foreign electrical standards
