Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an Engine Field Service Technician to diagnose and complete repairs to engines at the customer’s site in Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools and maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles. The role requires heavy equipment experience, Red Seal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol testing. You will maintain your own tools and participate in ongoing training.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our Distribution business in Fort McMurray.

Will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Completes complex internal engine repairs
• Performs engine overhauls unassisted
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

Compensation and Benefits

• 5 years’ experience required in heavy equipment, mining industry

• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
