Position Overview:

As a Component Cleaner at OEM Remanufacturing, you will be responsible for efficiently cleaning and transporting incoming cores and components to ensure they are properly prepared for inspection, quotation, and assembly. You will also contribute to contamination control through housekeeping duties and maintaining cleanliness in your area.

Job Description:

• Prepare parts correctly and efficiently, including sealing orifices and applying protective measures.
• Clean components using high-pressure washers.
• Perform caustic, acid washing, and other cleaning methods suitable for various product types without damaging parts.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months experience in Wage Grade 1 or higher (internal candidates).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow work instructions.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Mechanical aptitude and background preferred.
• Effective written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience with component cleaning and high-pressure washing preferred.
• Previous experience in a heavy-duty equipment facility is preferred.
• Must be fit tested and able to wear a respirator.
• Ability to work safely and comply with company policies and procedures.

Note:

• This is a static afternoon shift: Monday – Thursday, 10 hours per day.
• Future shift changes will follow the Collective Agreement terms.

• Hourly Rate: $24.72 - $31.93 / Hour.
