Position Overview:

As a Component Cleaner at OEM Remanufacturing, you will be responsible for efficiently cleaning and transporting incoming cores and components to ensure they are properly prepared for inspection, quotation, and assembly. In addition, you will contribute to contamination control through housekeeping duties and maintaining cleanliness in your area.

Job Description:

• Prepare parts correctly, including sealing orifices and applying protective measures
• Clean components using high-pressure washers
• Perform caustic, acid washing of various product types without damaging parts

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience in Wage Grade 1 or higher (internal candidates)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift and handle up to 40 pounds regularly
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Effective written and spoken English communication skills
• Experience with component cleaning and high-pressure washing preferred
• Previous experience in heavy-duty equipment facilities preferred
• Ability to pass fit testing and wear a respirator
• Commitment to safety and adherence to policies and procedures

Note:

• Shift: Weekend, Friday to Sunday, 12 hours per day
• Future shift changes will follow the Collective Agreement

• Hourly Rate: $24.72 - $31.93
