About the job you’re considering
We are looking for an experienced Engagement Manager with software project management experience, to lead and deliver large-scale digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile and Scrum expertise, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage client relationships, project timelines, resources, and risks effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals and objectives.
Project Management: Lead the delivery of large-scale digital transformation projects, managing timelines, resources, budgets, and risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with client executives, understanding their business needs, and translating them into effective project strategies.
Agile Methodology: Oversee and guide the adoption of Agile practices within the project, ensuring that teams are adhering to Agile principles and delivering value incrementally.
Scrum Master Responsibilities: Act as a Scrum Master when needed, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the team remains focused on sprint goals.
Team Leadership: Oversee project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and alignment with project objectives.
Solution Design: Collaborate with technical architects and consultants to ensure that solutions meet client requirements and are scalable, secure, and sustainable.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards, conducting regular reviews and implementing improvements where necessary.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring they are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Must Have skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience in software project management
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Project Management: Proven experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles using methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
Client-facing Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience managing client relationships.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and outcomes.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address challenges.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire project teams, and manage cross-functional teams with a focus on delivering exceptional client value.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMP, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
Agile & Scrum Mastery: Proven experience with Agile methodologies and acting as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement within teams.
Nice to have skills:
Business Process Mapping: Experience in mapping business processes to Salesforce solutions.
Change Management: Understanding of organizational change management principles.
Vendor Management: Experience in managing third-party vendors, contractors, or external partners.
Global Project Experience: Experience in managing Salesforce projects for international clients or teams.
