ONIT Energy Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Energy Contracts Specialist to join our growing Operations team in Toronto. The role combines administrative precision with analytical thinking to administer and process commercial gas and electricity contracts while supporting efficient workflows.

You will collaborate across Sales, Finance, Customer Experience, and Operations to ensure accurate contract processing, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in contract administration, operations, or related role.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Proficient Excel skills including formulas and lookups.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Process commercial natural gas and electricity contracts accurately and efficiently.
• Review contracts for completeness and compliance with policies.
• Monitor contract status from submission to completion and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely execution.
• Analyze contract activity to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and update daily reports using Excel and other tools.
