Job summary

Contrans Vrac in Niagara Region is seeking a Full Time Company Driver for Canada/US routes. You will handle loading, unloading bulk and dump products, tarp trailers, and perform pre-trip inspections as part of daily duties.

The role requires an AZ license, clean CVOR and drivers abstract, ability to lift 20–25 kg, and cross-border driving. Physical work includes climbing trailers and equipment, with 1–4 hours of driving at times, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit to climb trailers and perform lifting tasks.
• CVOR and driving abstract must be good.
• AZ license required to operate across Canada/US borders.
• Pre-trip inspections and safety checks are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any defects.
• Load and unload bulk/dump products.
• Tarp trailers and secure loads.
• Clean and prep trailers for next use.
• Handle cross bows on top of trailers and remove as needed.
• Drive on Canada/US routes with varying daily hours.
• Interact with dispatch, safety, and maintenance teams.
